“Great local place for us to eat!”
Not only do I adore the quaint and colorful atmosphere, The Palm Tree Grille offers an awesome Artichoke Gorgonzola!
Mouth watering and delicious, as well as delightful salads, pastas, burgers and wraps as well as their daily specials! (These are items we have tried).
The staff is warm and friendly - they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome.
Recently our Networking Group held an After Hours at The Palm Tree Grille - we were extremely happy with the planning, service and overall outcome of our event. They surprised us by offering a $25 Gift Certificate to include in our raffle prize drawings!
I strongly recommend you come enjoy the experience - whether you live locally or are visiting beautiful downtown Mount Dora!

“Best kept secret in Mt Dora!”
My husband and I stayed in Mt. Dora for our 10 yr anniversary and wanted to go somewhere nice for dinner. We walked all over the town during the day checking out the local resturants. We came to this one and the menu looked very good.
We had a wonderful dinner that evening and the food was out of this world! We were shocked (in a good way) when we received our bill. So much great food for such a small price! If in Mt Dora again, we will definetly come back!

“Superb entrees, great service, reasonable prices!”
I visited the Palm Tree Grille with my wife (we're from New Jersey) and another couple (from another part of Florida). The other couple (my sister and her husband) stumbled upon The Palm Tree Grille when their hotel clerk told them to check out the restaurants on Donnelly Street. The restaurant is casual and features Italian cuisine, but has a fantastic selection of delectable entrees. Each of us were very pleased with our selections. The menu featured creative dishes as well as typical Italian fare. The typical no-frills pasta entrees started at $10-12 and the most expensive item on the menu was the seafood platter at $22.00. Most entrees were in the $12-$17 range. I ordered a chicken dish from the specials menu that was superb ($17). The entrees are fairly decent-sized to good-sized portions. The dinners do come with rolls that are pretty tasty. They do offer a decent selection of beer and wine as well. None of us ordered any appetizers or desserts, so I really can't comment on that.
Other than the food, one very nice aspect of the meal was no wait time. We arrived at a little before 8:00pm on a Friday night and were seated immediately (as opposed to all of the restaurants on 441 which were jammed packed). It's not a big place, but there was ample seating. It's a nice, quaint setting with nicely-painted murals on the walls. The service was very good and the waitress was very friendly and accommodating.
Overall, I'd give The Palm Tree Grille about 4.5 out of 5 stars. Excellent food at a good price.

“Favorite restaurant in Mt. Dora, FL”
A quaint corner restaurant in Mt. Dora, FL. Get a window seat and view the goings on up and down the street that has a variety of shops. The food is excellent, the people are friendly. Prices are fair. Sometimes we share a meal. We go once a year to the Renningers Flea Market, stay at the remarkable Lakeside Inn, and eat at the Palm Tree Grille. We highly recommend all the above.
